A hackathon-style event bringing together the creative and tech community in Asbury Park and the surrounding areas.
The full-day event is on Saturday, June 22nd at Cowerks in Asbury Park, NJ. Friday night is a special Jersey Shore Tech meetup and kick-off event.
Bring any project you want, laptop or just your sketch pad, and come hack all day long. No contest here — just come hang out with your fellow Jersey Shore hackers, ask questions, share ideas, and meet new people.
Everyone's welcome — designers, developers, business owners, doodlers, etc. Bring your laptop (or whatever) and come work on your project, share ideas, learn from others, and get stuff done.
We're still working on finalizing the the weekend event but we already have two amazing speakers lined up for Saturday. Both are active in the developer community and contributors to open source code.
We'll provide breakfast and lunch along with and coffee/tea in the morning. There's also a ton of great eateries, bars, and coffee shops in Asbury Park for your to go grab something if you want to wander around and stetch those legs.
During lunch we open the floor to anyone wishing to discuss their project and field questions from the attendees - get feedback on your hacking project, open source library, or MVP!
